I started watching and reading about third acts. I saw quotes from one of my favorite writers that kept the inspiration going:

This started us on a journey of discovery. And became the start of many conversations. So we kept reading and talking and wondering.
* What would it be like to retire in Europe?
* Could we afford it?
* Where would we go?
* How would we spend our days?
* Would we be bored?
Traveling to Portugal reminded Mark of his visit 20 years ago and his promise to return one day. Now, the idea that maybe we return once more in retirement, took hold. He began doing research. Gathering articles, resources and even reaching out to a few people.
